A city-wide competition of local Nashville comics with shows at Burning Acre, Crazy Gnome, Yazoo, and Third Coast Comedy Club. The winning comic is named Nashville’s Funniest Comic and takes home a $1,000+ grand prize.

How many comics are participating?
We have slots for 84 comics (12 per night). If all spots fill up, we’ll evaluate adding another night!

How long does each comic get?
In Round One, everyone gets 4 minutes.Â

How many comics advance?
Three comics from each night will advance to Round Two.Â

How do you decide who advances?
Winners will be determined through a combination of an audience vote and also by a panel of judges comprising Nashville celebrities, working comics, and diverse artists.
